The second stop on the Birthday pub crawl was a little bit down the way to a place called Jax Pub. Sticking with the theme of consuming our beverages outdoors, we found a table outside on the patio virtually all to ourselves & settled down to see what Jax had to offer.
Asking the bartender if she can make a good Bloody Mary, she said yes & asked what I wanted for garnish. Telling her to surprise me, she went off to a backroom to get some ingredients - amping up my anticipation tenfold. When she returned, I'm happy to say that she didn't disappoint....
My first hearty swig brought a good smooth taste, and immediately thought to myself that I would be open to getting one of these in the future. It came with solid garnish basics - 2 olives, a lime wedge, a celery stick & pickle. Nothing to complain about here. The best part was the price. I'm not sure if this was a daily special, or the everyday price, but for three bucks, this tasty concoction is money well spent. Nothing really more to say....
